LightQuest Media

About

It was Mother Theresa who, when asked by a reporter to give insights into her success with the impoverished masses of New Delhi, responded, “God has not called me to be successful. God has called me to be faithful.”

When I heard those words, I knew they were life changing…if I would allow them to be. I knew those words addressed the many disappointments I had witnessed happening with Christians in business.

Those words of Mother Theresa would cause me to seriously reevaluate my life, my motivations, my pursuits.

Then, a few years ago, a good friend asked me a question that would change the course of my own actions, “How would your life be different if the only thing that mattered was faithfulness?”

And so it is with great intention that we’ve built a culture at LightQuest Media based on many values, all which rest upon the cornerstone of faithfulness.

We believe that when this life ends we will be welcomed into a new life, a glorious life, and the words we long to hear at that moment will be, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

We buy media. We advise and consult on marketing strategies. We thrash about daily in the marketplaces of this world, ever mindful that our goal is to be faithful servants to our clients.

What does faithfulness require from us?

It requires skill in every area of service we provide. When Paul told Timothy to study to show himself approved, he was talking about one aspect of being faithful.

Being faithful also requires our honesty, our forthright behavior. It means placing the needs and aspirations of our clients before our own. It means no back door deals, no paying one dime more than necessary to secure a media platform, no compensation other than what is up on top of the table, no mixed loyalties.

We must over deliver and operate with a degree of transparency that is unmatched in our industry. Every touch point we have with a client is to create a lighter burden for them, not for us.

We are media buyers, not media sellers. We work only for clients who are buying, not for the stations who are selling. Faithfulness requires that we have one master, and no divided or confused loyalties.

When we hire, we look for people who are skilled, have a strong work ethic, and who have demonstrated that they are faithful.

When you hire an agency, we suggest you expect the same.
