You can think of it as a kind of servant boot camp.  People walk in.  “The Ideal Servant” walks out.  There aren’t any push-ups, though.  Not yet.

Training God’s servants is what you can expect at Canaan Christian Center, the well-known “Servant-hood Training Institute,” in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.  With over 32 years of ministry experience, Apostle Craig S. Banks, and his wife Pastor Sheryl, lead what they call their church “with a different color” of ministry.  Serving people from all walks of life, their relatable, powerful and inspired messages weave in Apostle Craig’s sense of humor, Pastor Sheryl’s passion, and a lot of biblical teaching.

Their television program, The Heart of a Servant, currently airs on multiple networks both regionally in Arkansas and nationally.
